CLEVELAND, Miss. - Delta State shot 71 percent from the floor, including 81 percent in the first half, in an 89-69 victory over the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team, on Friday night at Walter Sillers Coliseum.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
·      CBU kept pace with Delta State as it trailed by 20-16 at the end of the first quarter.Â
·      Delta State took control of the half, using a 12-4 run over the first five minutes of the second             quarter.
·     DSU took a commanding 47-31 lead into the locker room at halftime.
·      After halftime, Delta State picked up where it left off by outscoring CBU 23-14 in the third.
·      Delta State had a 70-45 lead after three quarters.Â
·      CBU outscored Delta State 24-19 in the final quarter.Â
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
·     DSU was 36-of-51 (71 percent) from the field, including 6-for-11 (55 percent) from beyond the
      three-point line.Â
·      The Lady Bucs finished the game 26-of-62 (42 percent) from the floor, and were 8-of-24 (33         percent) from long range.Â
