Bucs Unable to Find Goal in Loss to Mississippi College

MEMPHIS - The Christian Brothers University men's soccer team outshot visiting Mississippi College 20-13, but was unable to find the back of the net, in a 2-0 loss, on Friday night, at Signaigo Field.   

Both MC goals came in a 10 minute span during the second half.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
HALF | The teams played out a physically played scoreless first half that saw a combined 13 fouls. The Bucs outshot the visitors 8-5. Both teams forced three saves. 
53' | The visitors scored the opener when Filippo Bellu headed home a corner kick from Soane Folituu. 
61' | MC scored an insurance goal just over eight minutes later when Julio Rangel had his initial shot saved by Wayne Davis, but fired home the rebound. 
FINAL | The Bucs had 11 shots in the final 29 minutes, but were unable to find the goal. 

KEY STATS | NOTEABLES
  • CBU outshot the visitors 20-13. The Bucs forced seven saves, while Davis finished with seven stops. 
  • The Bucs have been shut out in three of their four Gulf South Conference loses.
