DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Christian Brothers University women's basketball team erased a 16 point halftime deficit to defeat Rollins 65-63, on Friday afternoon, at the ICI Center.
Emily Jones led the Lady Bucs with 26 points, while
Yaya Coleman recorded a double-double, in her CBU debut, with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
The contest was the first of the season for both teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Tars forced five CBU turnovers, while holding the Lady Bucs to 4-of-19 shooting. Rollins led 19-11 after the first quarter.
- Rollins opened the second quarter on a 12-4 run, and led 36-20 at the half. Rollins shot 44% in the opening half.
- The Lady Bucs opened the third quarter on an 18-9 run, making eight of their first 13 shots to cut the lead to 55-49 after three quarters.
- With 1:17 left in the fourth, Darcy Doran got an offensive rebound and hit a six foot jumper to give CBU the lead 62-61.
- After clutch free-throws by Emily Jones, the Lady Bucs held Rollins on the offensive end to earn the win.
