CLINTON, MS. - The Christian Brothers University women's basketball team erased a 12 point third quarter deficit to defeat Mississippi College 71-61, on Monday afternoon, at A.E. Wood Coliseum.
Yaya Coleman led the Lady Bucs with 25 points, while
Jeremia Montgomery recorded her first career double-double, with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Choctaws forced seven CBU turnovers, while holding the Lady Bucs to 3-of-11 shooting. MC led 15-9 after the first quarter.
- The Lady Bucs opened the second quarter on an 11-2 run, and took a 20-17 lead with 7:39 remaining in the half.
- MC scored 16 of the next 27 points to lead the Lady Bucs 33-31 at the half. MC shot 33% in the opening half.
- MC opened the third quarter on an 11-3 run, making five of its first seven shots to increase its lead to 11 (45-34).
- The Lady Bucs were able to cut the deficit to seven (53-46) entering the fourth quarter. Yaya Coleman scored eight points in the third quarter.
- In the fourth, the Lady Bucs used an 11-3 run to tie the game at 57 with 6:04 remaining in the game.
- With 2:03 left in the fourth, Jeremia Montgomery got a steal and hit a fast-break layup to give CBU the lead 63-61.
- In the final two minutes, the Lady Bucs held MC scoreless to help seal the comeback victory.
