HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Christian Brothers University women's basketball team earned its second road victory of the year in a 72-66 victory over Alabama Huntsville, on Sunday, at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Lady Bucs hit back-to-back threes to start the game, but trailed 19-18 after 10 minutes.
• CBU went on a 12-0 run in the closing minutes of the first half to take a 41-31 lead into halftime.  
• UAH used an 11-3 run to cut the Bucs lead to 45-42, but CBU answered back with a 12-4 run as it lead 57-46 after three quarters.
• In the final quarter, the Chargers 13-6 run was not enough to complete the comeback, as the Lady Bucs held on for the win.

KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:

• With the win, the Lady Bucs earned their first road victory since a 94-86 triumph over Montevallo (2.15.20).
• The Lady Bucs finished the game 25-for-52 from the field (49 percent), and 9-of-20 (45 percent) from three point range.  
• CBU won the rebounding battle 34-29
• CBU had a 15-1 advantage in bench points.
• Brynne Lytle finished with a game high 31 points and 2 steals, including 5-for-8 from three point range.
• Julia Nicholson finished the game with 10 points.
• Karlee Bates recorded a team high 12 rebounds (career-high).
• Alexis Woods, of UAH, finished 8-of-11 with 24 points and 13 rebounds.
