CARROLLTON, Ga. – West Georgia pushed across five runs in the third and sixth innings to help it earn a 13-5 (6) win over the Christian Brothers University softball team, on Sunday, at University Field.
With the win, the Wolves earned a sweep of the three-game series.

GAME CHANGER:
- West Georgia scored five runs in two different innings.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- UWG finished with a 17-8 advantage in hits.

Memory Willingham led CBU with two hits apiece.

Kendall Westbrooks and Dyer both hit their first home runs of the season.
- West Georgia finished the game with five extra base hits.
- UWG pitchers finished with nine strikeouts.
KEY PLAYS:
- With two outs in the first, Westbrooks smacked a three-run home run to give CBU a 3-0 lead.
- UWG answered in the bottom half of the inning when Chandler Melvis drove in a pair with a two out single.
- After the Lady Bucs plated single runs in the third and fourth, UWG stormed back with five runs in the fourth.
- The Wolves added a run in the fifth and finished the game with five more runs in the sixth.
