ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Ouachita Baptist claimed a 3-2 walk-off victory in the opener and claimed the nightcap 8-0 (5) to earn a sweep over the Christian Brothers University softball team, on Wednesday, at Sully Anderson Field.
GAME ONE: OBU 3 (1-2) CBU 2 (0-1, 0-1 GSC)
GAME CHANGER:
- OBU scored a pair of runs in the bottom half of the seventh to earn the win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Lady Bucs were outhit 10-6.

Memory Willingham (2-for-4) led the Lady Bucs at the plate.

Bree Brady and Willingham drove in the lone runs for CBU.

McKenna Rose went the distance in the circle, allowing three runs on 10 hits.
KEY PLAYS:
- After leaving runners stranded in the first four innings, the Lady Bucs finally broke through in the fifth on Brady's RBI single.
- Following Brady's single,
Elaina McGill drew a one out walk to load the bases but the Lady Bucs failed to do further damage.
- Willingham's RBI single in the sixth increased the CBU lead to 2-0.
- OBU answered in the home half of the sixth with a solo home run.
- The Tigers scored what proved to be the game-winning runs in the seventh when they hit back-to-back doubles and an RBI single.
- CBU left nine runners on base.
GAME TWO: OBU 8 (2-2) CBU 0 (0-5) (5)
GAME CHANGER:
- OBU starting pitcher Nicole Arreloa allowed just one CBU hit.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Lady Bucs were outhit 13-1.
- OBU capitalized on three CBU miscues.

KEY PLAYS:
- The Tigers scored two runs apiece in the first three innings, and finished the game with one run in the fourth and fifth.
