LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The Christian Brothers University women's basketball team shot just 24 percent in a 68-41 loss at West Alabama, on Monday, at Pruitt Hall Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lady Bucs struggled early, as they shot 2-for-11 in the opening quarter as it trailed 10-6.
- The Tigers used an 11-4 run to close out the second quarter and extended their lead to 30-16.
- CBU finished the first half just 3-of-20 from the floor.
- CBU used a 7-2 run to cut the deficit to 32-23, but UWA responded with a 9-0 spurt to lead 41-23, after three quarters.
- In the final quarter, UWA went to the free throw line 21 times and held on for the win.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
- The Lady Bucs finished the game just 24 percent from the field (12-for-51), and 15-of-23 (65 percent) from the free-throw line.
- Tazsa Garrett-Hammett, of UWA, finished 8-of-15 with 32 points and seven rebounds.
- UWA had a 46-31 advantage in rebounds.
- Brynne Lytle finished with a team high 24 points and 6 rebounds, and four steals. She finished was also 11-of-14 from the free throw line. Lytle's first basket pushed her past the 1,500 career points mark. Her eighth point of the contest moved her past Sarah Condra for second on the program's all-time scoring list. The Jackson, Tenn., native now has 1,523 points for her career.
- Darcy Doran finished the game with six points and six rebounds
