JACKSON, Tenn - Union outscored the Christian Brothers University men's basketball team 35-27 in the second half, and held on for a 72-67 win, on Saturday Afternoon, at Fred DeLay Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Five and a half minutes into the contest the Bucs used a trio of three pointers to race out to a 13-4 lead.
- Union responded, and grabbed a 19-18 lead with 8:47 left in the half.
- The Bucs continued their hot shooting and used it to hold a 40-37 halftime lead.
- CBU finished the first half with a scorching hot 68 percent from the floor (15-of-22), including 6-for-11 from long range.
- The CBU lead was short lived, as the hosts led for a majority of the second half.
- Union grew its advantage to 58-49 with 8:02 left.
- After a layup by Christian Jones cut the lead to four, Union scored six of the next eight points.
- The Bulldogs connected on five of their final six free throws to seal the win.

- Union claimed three out of four in the season series. Three of the four contests were decided by four points, or less.
- The Bulldogs finished the game 51 percent from the floor (27-of-53), including 8-for-18 from three point range.
