MEMPHIS - Zyaire Ewing scored 25 points and grabbed 21 rebounds to help give Delta State a 78-64 win over the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team Friday night, at Canale Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lady Bucs came out firing early, as Emily Jones hit her first two three pointers of the night. The game was tied at 15 after the first quarter.
- CBU trailed early in the second, but used a 7-0 as the second quarter was coming to an end.
- The Lady Bucs trailed 39-35 heading into the locker room at halftime.
- After halftime, Delta State shot 50 percent from the field in the third quarter and extended its lead to 12.
- DSU used a 22-14 third quarter to extend its lead to 61-49.
- The Lady Statesmen continued their hot shooting in the fourth quarter, shooting 7-of-13 from the field to hold on for the win.

- The Lady Bucs finished the game 19-of-21 (91 percent) from the free throw line
- Zyaire Ewing finished 9-of-19 with 25 points and 21 rebounds. Her 21 rebounds are a GSC season high.
