Lady Bucs Earn Hard Fought Draw at Delta State

Cleveland, Miss - The matchup between the Christian Brothers University women's soccer team and Delta State ended in a 1-1 draw, on Tuesday afternoon, on the campus of Delta State University.

The last two contests between CBU and Delta State have ended in draws. The 2019 game ended in a scoreless draw.

The contest was the third of the 2021 Gulf South Conference Spring Championship Series.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

43' | The Lady Bucs got on the board just before halftime, when a corner kick by Bailey Tadlock led to a goal by Taylor White.
HALF | Riley Chafin had four first half saves to help keep DSU off the board.
71' | DSU answered back with game tying goal when Nicola Hauk struck from long range.
OT | CBU had its best chance in the first overtime, when Tadlock's cross narrowly missed the foot of Anna Della Rosa.
