Bucs Advance to Semifinals of GSC Spring Championship Tournament After Dramatic Comeback Win at Alabama Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Christian Brothers University men's soccer team advanced to the semifinals of the Gulf South Conference Spring Championship Series in dramatic fashion, as it advanced following a 3-3 draw and a penalty shootout, on Sunday night, at Charger Park.

With the Bucs on the brink of elimination, Chandler O'Dwyer scored a pair of goals in less than four minutes, including one with just under a minute remaining to help send the match to overtime. Following the two 10 minute overtimes, both teams converted four of the five spot kicks to send the shootout into sudden death. After Jacob Daffern and Kazuyuki Hata converted, CBU goalkeeper Wayne Davis saved Michael Weston's attempt, that sent the Bucs into a celebration.
