Carrollton, GA – Jack Rasmussen, 15-strikeout complete game, and Joe Skinner, two home-runs, helped West Georgia sweep the doubleheader against the Christian Brothers University baseball team on Saturday afternoon, at Cole Field. CBU fell 16-6 in the opener, and were shutout 6-0 in the nightcap.

The Wolves scored 12 runs in the final three innings.

Antonio Fernandez led the Bucs going 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
Jay White recorded his third multi-hit game of the year, going 2-for-4 with two RBI's.
UWG starting pitcher Robert Coleman allowed four runs, three earned, on six hits with eight strikeouts in 6.1 innings.

Jonathan Baldelli allowed nine runs, eight earned, on nine hits with three strikeouts in 4.0 innings.

The Wolves offense got going early, scoring two runs in each of the first two innings, to lead 4-0.
In the fifth, the Wolves took advantage of two CBU miscues, to add on six runs and led 10-0.
The Bucs got on the board in the sixth with an RBI-single by
Antonio Fernandez as they trailed 10-1.
CBU rallied back with five runs in the seventh, including a home-run by
Larry Hubbard, but still trailed 10-6.
In the bottom of the seventh, UWG scored six runs on two hits, as the mercy rule took effect.
