ROME, GA. - The Christian Brothers University men's soccer team scored five goals in the second half, and coasted to an 8-1 win over Shorter, on Friday evening, at Ben Brady Field. The contest marked the Gulf South Conference opener for both teams.
The eight goals are the most for the Bucs since they put seven past Montevallo in 2018. The eight goals marks the second highest total against a GSC foe in recorded history. In 2003, the Bucs shipped 10 goals against former conference member Lincoln Memorial.
The eight goals in a single game currently ranks first in the GSC and fourth in the NCAA Division II.
