MEMPHIS - Valdosta State scored at least 24 points in all four quarters in a 101-62 win over the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team on Thursday evening, at Canale Arena.
The Lady Bucs were held to just 34 percent shooting (22-64), including 21 percent (6-of-28) from three point range.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Valdosta State hit nine of its 18 shots, including four of eight from long-range to take a 24-13 lead after the first quarter.
- VSU continued its strong defensive showing, as CBU shot just 3-of-13 in the second quarter, to help it take a 49-25 lead into halftime.
- The Lady Blazers opened the third quarter on a 21-4 run to extend its lead to 41 (70-29).
- Valdosta State won the final quarter 24-15 to finish the scoring.

- Emily Jones led the Lady Bucs with a game-high 21 points, including 5-of-5 from the free-throw line.
- Jeremia Montgomery added 12 points and two blocks, off the bench
- The Lady Bucs were outrebounded 50-33.
