MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Auburn Montgomery shot 55 percent, and held the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team to just 37, in an 86-72 win, on Thursday evening, at the AUM Athletics Complex.
The win gave AUM a split in the season series.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Auburn Montgomery hit 10 of its first 19 shots, while holding CBU to just 7-of-19, to take a 25-16 lead after the opening 10 minutes.
- CBU bounced back, outscoring the hosts 21-19 to cut the halftime deficit to 44-37.
- AUM was 17-30 from the floor in the first half, including 4-8 from three point range.
- In the third quarter, after an Emily Jones free-throw tied the game at 49, AUM used a 17-8 run to take a 66-57 lead into the final quarter.
- AUM kept its lead to at least 10 points during the entirety of the fourth quarter to earn the win.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
- Jeremia Montgomery led the Lady Bucs with 18 points and nine rebounds, off the bench.
- Emily Jones added 15 points. The sophomore was 9-of-9 from the free throw stripe.
- Darcy Doran had a season-high 13 points, along with six rebounds.
- Karlee Bates rounded out the double figure scorers with 11.
- The seven turnovers for CBU are a season-low.
- The Lady Bucs were outrebounded 39-34.
- AUM finished the game 31-56, including 10-of-20 from beyond the arc.
