HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Bucs led by six points early in the contest, but the Falcons tied the game at 16 at the midway point of the first half. 
  • A three pointer by Nick Deifel, with two seconds left, gave the Bucs a 32-29 lead going into halftime. 
  • CBU was 12-26 from the floor in the first half, but managed to hit just 1-7 from three point range. 
  • The Falcons shot 12-27 in the opening 20 minutes. 
  • After the Bucs led 38-33, three minutes into the second half, the Falcons used a 22-10 run to take a 55-48 lead with 11:27 left. 
  • CBU responded with an 8-0 spurt to retake the lead with 9:26 remaining. 
  • With 2:45 left, a jumper by Jesse Payne IV gave the Bucs a 65-63. 
  • A pair of free throws by Jason King, with four seconds left, helped the Falcons seal the win. 
  • The Falcons scored the next six points before Christian Jones hit a three pointer at the buzzer.

  • The Falcons shot 56 percent (14-25) in the second half. 
  • CBU finished 25-57 (44 percent), but were just 3-15 from three point range. 
  • The Bucs dominated the glass 37-25.

  • Daniel Loos led the Bucs with 19 points.
