MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Christian Brothers University women's basketball team dropped a 95-38 decision to Middle Tennessee State, in exhibition action, on Friday night, at the Murphy Center. After advancing to the semifinal of the WNIT last year, MTSU was picked to win Conference USA in its preseason poll.

- MTSU used a hot start to take a 44-13 lead into halftime.
- The Lady Raiders shot 13-of-21 in the third quarter to take a an 81-27 lead into the fourth quarter.
- MTSU outscored the Lady Bucs 14-11, in the fourth, to finish the scoring.

- MTSU finished 48 percent from the floor and made 13 of its 35 three point field goals.
- CBU was held to 23 percent, and converted 68 percent from the free throw stripe (13-of-19).
- Yaya Coleman led CBU with 13 points. In her CBU debut, Selena Pruitt added 10 points and tied for a game-high with seven rebounds.
