MEMPHIS - The Christian Brothers University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Valdosta State, on Friday night, at Canale Arena. Before the match, CBU honored its six seniors.

WHAT HAPPENED:
Valdosta State had 40 kills and just 12 errors (.333 hitting percentage) in the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- VSU had a match-high 15 kills, while committing just three miscues to take a 1-0 lead.
- Trailing 17-11, CBU used an 8-2 run to cut the lead to 20-19. VSU responded, scoring five of the next seven points to win the set.
- After CBU took an 11-9 lead, VSU used an 11-5 spurt to take a 20-14 lead. The Blazers then scored five of the next seven points to finish the match.

The Lady Bucs are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, Oct. 29, when they host West Georgia and Rhodes. First serve for the GSC contest, with West Georgia, is set for 1 PM. CBU is set to wrap up its home slate with Rhodes at 6 PM.
