HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Christian Brothers University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Alabama Huntsville, on Friday night, at Spragins Hall.
FINAL SCORE:
UAH 3 (8-11, 4-4 GSC) CBU 0 (3-11, 2-6 GSC), (25-14, 25-16, 25-15)
WHAT HAPPENED:
UAH hit .284, and took advantage of 23 CBU attack errors.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Chargers used a match-high 18 kills, while committing just two errors, to take the first set 25-14.
- After CBU took a 9-8 lead, UAH used an 11-5 run to take a 19-13 lead. The Chargers then scored six of the final nine points to win the set.
- UAH took advantage of 11 CBU errors to win the third and final set.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
Calah Jackson led CBU with eight kills.
Kimmy Hammond led the CBU defense with 13 digs.
Abby Wheaton had a career-high four blocks.
