CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The Christian Brothers University volleyball team dropped a 3-2 decision at Lee, on Thursday night, at Paul Dana Walker Arena. The Lady Bucs won sets two and three before the hosts bounced back to win the match.

LEE 3 (8-23, 5-10 GSC), CBU 2 (4-21, 2-13 GSC), (25-14, 21-25, 24-26, 25-15, 15-10)
WHAT HAPPENED:
After CBU took a 2-1 lead, the Flames outscored the Lady Bucs 40-25, over the next two sets, to earn the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lee had a match-low three errors, helping it earn a 25-14 first set win.
- CBU jumped out to a 7-2 lead, and never trailed as it even the match at one.
- The third set was tied at 10 before CBU used a 4-1 run to take a 14-11 lead. Lee then used a 7-4 spurt to tie the match at 18.
- After the score was tied at 21, the teams traded points until CBU scored three straight to win the set.
- CBU used an early run to take a 7-3 lead.
- Trailing 12-10, Lee scored 15 of the next 18 pints to tie the match at two.
- With the fifth set tied at nine, Lee scored the final six points to earn the win.
KEY STATS | NOTABLES:
- Calah Jackson led the Lady Bucs with career-highs in kills (17) and blocks (7).
- Maysen Bruschke (12) and Maddi Rowley (11) also had double-digit kills.
- Becca King and Aldon Pilz paced CBU with a season-high 21 assists apiece. Pilz (15) and King (10) also posted season-highs in digs.
- Kimmy Hammond led CBU with 18 digs.
- The Lady Bucs dropped to 1-6 in five set contests.
