CLINTON, Miss. - Mississippi College starting pitcher Avery Barnett allowed just two hits in a 3-0 win over the Christian Brothers University softball team, on Sunday afternoon, at the MC Softball Complex.
With the win, the Choctaws earned a 2-1 series win.

MC used a two-run home run to take a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second.

The Lady Bucs left runners on in the sixth and seventh inning.
The Chcotaws added a pair in the second and three in the third.

The Lady Bucs are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, March 2, when they host LeMoyne-Owen for a non-conference doubleheader. First pitch is schedueld for 1 PM. This will mark the first contests at Bland Field since March 8, 2020.
