The 37 runs are the most scored by a GSC team since Delta State accomplished the feat against Mississippi Valley State in 1999. The Lady Bucs are also now tied for second in GSC single-game history with Alabama Huntsville (26-2018). CBU also drew 17 walks, which is tied for third in GSC history (2000-Central Arkansas).
This marked the first home game at Bland Field since March 8, 2020.
