CARROLLTON, Ga. - Zaria Bankston hit a pair of free throws with 30 seconds left, in overtime, to help give West Georgia a 93-89 win over the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team, on Saturday afternoon, at The Coliseum.
Emily Jones led CBU, tying a career high with 29 points.
The 89 points for the Lady Bucs are a season-high.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After a closely contested opening quarter, the game was tied at 20 after 10 minutes.
- UWG opened the second period with an 11-1 run to take a 31-21 lead.
- The Lady Bucs answered with a 14-6 run to cut the deficit to 37-35 going into halftime.
- The Wolves kept it close in the first half by going 12-18 from the free throw stripe, including 9-14 in the second quarter.Â
- UWG grew its lead to eight (48-40) with 6:24 remaining in the third.
- CBU reeled off a 16-9 run that cut the deficit to 57-56 heading into the fourth quarter.
- To open the fourth, UWG scored 18 of the first 28 points to extend its lead to nine (75-66) with 4:02 remaining.Â
- With 51 seconds remaining, Emily Jones hit a three pointer to cut the deficit to 79-78.
- With four seconds remaining, Yaya Coleman made a clutch layup to tie the game at 80. Â
- In OT, UWG made three of its first five shots, to take an 87-84 lead with 3:03 remaining.
- In the final minute, the Wolves went 4-of-6 from the free throw line to seal the victory.
