ATHENS, Ala. - The Christian Brothers University women's golf team finished third at the Union Spring Bulldog Bash, on Tuesday, Canebrake Golf Club.
Rachel Stephens (Indiv.) earned individual medalist honors.
The victory for Stephens was the first of her collegiate career. The Bartlett, Tenn., native finished with a +5 over par 221. Stephens won the tournament on the first playoff hole over Paola Rosairo (Shorter).
After posting an opening round 316, the Lady Bucs responded with a 302 in the second round and a 303 to finish the tournament. The Lady Bucs were 10 shots behind runners-up Shorter and 23 shots behind the tournament winners Montevallo.
