GAME ONE: SHORTER 19 (19-15, 10-11 GSC), CBU 8 (10-23, 6-13 GSC) (7)
 
GAME CHANGER:
- The Hawks launched five home runs in the game, including a grand-slam in a 10-run fifth inning. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Hawks finished with an 18-10 advantage in hits.
- Antonio Fernandez led the Bucs going 3-for-4 with three extra-base hits, including his first career gram-slam.
- Ben Brocato and Keagan Voss recorded two hits each.
- Jarret Fowlkes, Van True, and Kelton Castillo also recorded a hit.

KEY PLAYS:
- The Bucs capitalized on a two-run triple by Fernandez to lead 3-0 after one. 
- Shorter responded with six runs on six hits in the second to take a 6-3 lead.
- With two outs in the third, Fernandez launched a grand-slam to give the Bucs a 7-6 lead.
- Isaac Harkins, of Shorter, tied the game with a solo home run in the fourth.

GAME CHANGER:
- Hawks starting pitcher, Jonathan Pintaro, threw a complete-game, while striking out 17.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Hawks finished with a 9-4 advantage in hits.
- Jarret Fowlkes led the Bucs, going 1-for-3, with his third home-run of the year.
- Van True, Ben Brocato, and Kelton Castillo each recorded a hit.
- CBU starting pitcher, Sam Brumbaugh, allowed three runs, on seven hits, with three strikeouts in 6.1 innings.

KEY PLAYS:
- Shorter capitalized with a pair of sac-flys to take a 2-0 lead.
- Fowlkes got the Bucs on the board with a home run, as they trailed 2-1 after five. 
- Matt Christian, of Shorter, extended the Hawks lead with an RBI-single in the seventh.
- Pintaro, of Shorter, retired the final six batters to hold on for the win.
