VALDOSTA, Ga. - Valdosta State used a .267 hitting percentage and 16 blocks in a 3-0 win over the Christian Brothers University volleyball team, on Saturday afternoon, at The Complex.

VSU 3 (7-10, 1-3 GSC), CBU 0 (2-9, 1-4 GSC) (25-21, 25-13, 25-19)
WHAT HAPPENED:
Valdosta State hit .267, had a season-high 16 blocks and took advantage of 28 CBU errors.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- A closely played opening set saw the Lady Bucs lead 17-14, but VSU scored five of the next six points to take the lead. After CBU scored three straight, the Blazer offense recorded six unanswered to take the opening set, 25-21.
- After the hosts jumped out to an 11-4 lead, they used a 7-2 run to extend the lead to 18-6. After CBU scored four straight points, VSU took advantage of three errors and an ace to win the set.
- After trailing 9-4, to start the third set, the Lady Bucs responded to take a 12-11 lead. With the score tied at 16, VSU capitalized on six CBU errors to win the match.
- VSU had 10 kills and just one error in the third set.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
Maddi Rowley led CBU with seven kills and 14 digs.
Tia Rizvi added 19 assists and 11 digs.
