MEMPHIS – Aiden Ruthsatz scored a career-high 38 points, but it was not enough as the Christian Brothers University men's basketball team dropped an 86-75 decision to West Georgia, on Saturday afternoon, at Canale Arena.
Not to be outdone, Zawdie Jackson poured in 36 points for UWG.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A Charlie Champagne jumper gave the Bucs a 20-17 lead with 9:52 left until halftime.
- After CBU took a 27-25 lead with 6:56 left, the Wolves closed the half on a 16-7 run to take a 41-34 lead at the break.
- The Bucs were 14-28 from the floor in the first half, while the Wolves were 14-27, including 6-11 from three point range.
- After CBU cut the lead to 41-40 with 19:03 left, UWG used a 14-4 run to take a 55-44 lead with 14:55 remaining.
- The Bucs responded, as Ruthsatz knocked down a jumper that cut the deficit to 70-66 with 6:54 left.
- UWG then used a 16-9 run of its own to close out the game.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES
- Ruthsatz poured in a career-high 38 points on 12-24 shooting, including 8-12 from three point range. The 38 points are the most for a CBU men's player since Luke Rudy scored 44 against Auburn Montgomery (12.15.18).
- Daniel Loos added 12 points and Darell Johnson had 10 to round out the double figure scorers for CBU.
- The Bucs were outscored 42-28 in the paint.
- UWG finished 32-64, including 9-18 from three point range.
