HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The CBU Lady Bucs drop the Gulf South Conference road match to the UAH Chargers, 3-0, on Friday night at Spragins Hall.

UAH 3 (11-6, 7-2 GAC), CBU 0 (2-18, 1-7 GSC), (25-19, 25-8, 25-23)
WHAT HAPPENED:
CBU battled back and forth with the Chargers, as the two teams accounted for 23 ties and 10 lead changes, but the Lady Bucs could not secure the victory, falling in three sets to UAH.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bucs came out of the gates hot in the first set as a kill from Tia Rizvi and ace from Aldon Pilz gave CBU a 5-2 lead. CBU extended their lead to 10-7 on a Jordan Allen kill.
- The Chargers went on a 4-0 run to take their first lead of the game, finishing the set on a 18-9 run to secure the Set 1 victory.
- CBU struggled in the second set, securing only eight points with three kills and 10 attack errors, giving UAH a 2-0 set lead over the Bucs.
- The Lady Bucs would not go quietly in the night, using a 4-1 run capped off by a kill from Aliyah Babler to take a 10-9 lead.
- After a kill by Sarah Allyn Thornell gave CBU a 23-22 lead, the Chargers would score three straight points to take the 25-23 set win and 3-0 match victory.
KEY STATS | NOTABLES:
- Jackson and Solis have combined to lead the Bucs in kills during the last four games. During the stretch Jackson has 38 kills, while Solis has 21.
- A game after recording her first career kill, Babler put in a career-high four kills in just one set.
- Solis recorded a block in a game for the 16th time this season, her three blocks against UAH marked the 10th time she has had a multi-block match.
- Rizvi recorded her fourth 20+ assist match of the season, with 20 assists tonight. The junior also added six digs and two kills on the night.
