No. 7 Lee Defeats Lady Bucs

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - No. 7 Lee earned a 5-1 win over the Christian Brothers University women's soccer team, on Friday evening, at Ray Conn Sports Complex. 

The Flames took an early lead, scoring a pair of goals in the first half and added three in the second. The hosts also took advantage of a pair of penalty kicks.

LEE 5 (12-0-4, 10-0-2, GSC)
CBU 1 (5-9-3, 3-8-1, GSC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:
3' | Lee converted the first of its two penalty kicks just over two minutes into the contest after a handball was called in the CBU box. 
22' | Isabella Valentine scored to give the hosts a 2-0 lead.
HALF | Despite the scoreline, CBU outshot Lee 7-4 in the first half, while also forcing three saves. 
61' | Luisa Velten got CBU on the board when she scored on a penalty kick, following a handball in the Lee box. 
61' | Lee quickly responded, just 12 seconds later, when Nora Burton placed a shot into the top of the goal. 
71' | Amelya Jacobs finished the scoring for Lee with just less than 20 minutes left.
