Bucs Fall in Penalty Kicks at Auburn Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The No. 5 seed Christian Brothers University men's soccer team was eliminated from the Gulf South Conference Tournament, after falling in penalty kicks to No. 4 seed Auburn Montgomery, on Sunday afternoon, at the AUM Soccer Complex. The teams battled to a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.

CBU  1 (8-3-6, 5-3-3, GSC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:
13' | Paul Bobai opened the scoring for the Bucs when he took a pass at the top of the box from Marco Osti, and turned and fired a shot into the bottom right corner of the goal. 
HALF | The Bucs took a 1-0 lead into the break and had a 6-3 advantage in shots. 
47' | AUM equalized just less than two minutes into the second half after Sean Keane headed home a long throw in from Landon Surratt. 
90' | The teams combined for 10 shots the rest of the way, but neither could find a winner. 
OT | During the two 10 minute overtime periods, the Bucs outshot the Warhawks by a combined 3-0. 
PK | After both teams made their first two penalty kicks, CBU had its third go off of the crossbar. The hosts converted their next two kicks to advance.
