No. 4 Union Races Past Lady Bucs

JACKSON, Tenn. -  No. 4 Union defeated the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team 107-35, on Friday night, at Fred DeLay Gymnasium. 

Union shot 56 percent and forced 38 CBU miscues, converting them into 44 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • Union started quickly, shooting 71 percent, to take a 33-9 lead after the first quarter. 
  • The Lady Bulldogs held CBU to just 6-21 shooting, in the first half, to take a 56-17 lead into halftime.
  • After shooting 10-16 to win the third quarter 29-11, the hosts finished the game with a 22-7 final period. 

KEY STATS | NOTEABLES 

  • Union finished the game 56 percent from the floor 39-70, including 28-34 from inside the three-point line. 
  • CBU finished 26 percent from the floor (12-47) and was held without a three-point field goal (0-7).
  • Union forced 38 CBU miscues, converting them into 44 points. 
  • Chloe Crawford and Jeremia Montgomery led CBU with six points each.
