MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Christian Brothers University women's basketball team held Auburn Montgomery to just 34 percent shooting to help it earn a 78-58 win, on Saturday afternoon, at the AUM Athletics Complex.
The victory snapped a four-game skid for the Lady Bucs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Bucs jumped out to a 14-8 lead at the midway point of the first quarter.
- CBU held the hosts to just 5-16 shooting to take a 22-13 after the opening 10 minutes.
- After AUM cut the deficit to 27-19, the Lady Bucs used an 11-3 spurt to take a 38-22 lead into halftime.
- The Lady Bucs allowed just four made field goals (4-15) in the second quarter.
- In the opening eight minutes of the second half, AUM outscored CBU 20-12 to cut the deficit to 50-44.
- CBU scored the last four points of the quarter to take a 54-44 lead into the fourth quarter.
- The Lady Bucs started the fourth quarter on a 10-5 spurt to take a 64-49 lead with 7:26 left.
- CBU then used a 14-5 run to take control of the game.
- The Lady Bucs shot 10-16, while holding AUM to just 5-21, to win the final quarter 24-14.
