MEMPHIS - Visiting West Alabama used a 29-16 fourth quarter to defeat the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team 77-62, on Thursday evening, at Canale Arena.
The Tigers shot 11-14 in the fourth quarter to earn the win and split the season series.
In the first quarter,
Emily Jones knocked down a free throw to score her 1,000th career point. The Jackson, Tenn., native has reached the mark in just 65 career games.

- The Tigers led 10-8 at the midway point of the first quarter.
- CBU scored 11 points in the final 5:43 to take a 19-16 lead.
