MONTICELLO, Ark. - After dropping its first three matches at the Blossom Classic Invitational, the Christian Brothers University volleyball team bounced back to defeat host Arkansas Monticello 3-0, on Saturday afternoon, at Steelman Fieldhouse. The Lady Bucs opened the day with a 3-0 setback to Northern State (S.D.)

NSU 3 (3-1), CBU 0 (0-3), (25-21, 25-14, 25-16)
WHAT HAPPENED:
Northern State had 46 kills compared to just 20 for CBU.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- CBU led the opening set 16-11, but the Wolves went on a 14-5 run to take a 1-0 lead.
- NSU used 18 kills to win the second set 25-14.
- With the third set tied at seven Norhtern scored 11 of the next 16 points to take a commanding 18-13 lead before pulling away to earn the win.

WHAT HAPPENED:
CBU hit a season-best .204 and took advantage of 24 UAM attack errors.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- CBU dominated the first set, using a match-high 13 kills to win the opener 25-12.
- The hosts jumped ahead 7-1, but CBU stormed back to tie it at 15.
- CBU scored five of the final seven points to win the set.
- The Lady Bucs took advantage of 10 UAM attack errors to win the third set and the match.
- After trailing 18-15, CBU used a 10-3 run to end the match.
