Lady Bucs Fall at Lee

CLEVELAND, Tenn. -  Lee outscored the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team 25-8 in the first quarter in a 69-31 win, on Thursday night, at Walker Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
  • Lee used a big first quarter to jump out to a 25-8 lead.
  • The Flames held CBU to just 3-12 shooting in the opening quarter. 
  • The teams combined for just 16 total points in the second quarter, as the Flames went into halftime with a 34-15 lead.
  • CBU shot just 24 percent from the field, while the hosts shot 44 percent.
  • Mallory Hampton scored 10 points in the third quarter to push the Flames lead to 46-20 with 2:19 left in the period.
  • An Ever Walker layup, at the end of the quarter, made the score 46-23, going into the final quarter. 
  • The Flames scored 15 unanswered points to start the fourth quarter to extend their lead to 61-23.
