CBU edged by Union in game that went down to the wire

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In a closely contested Gulf South Conference matchup, Christian Brothers University men's basketball (4-4, 0-3 GSC) came up just short against Union University (6-2, 2-0 GSC) on Friday night at the Canale Arena. Despite a valiant effort and strong second-half performance, CBU fell to Union 74-70 in a game that went down to the wire.

First Half

  1. Union's Early Burst (19:55 - 18:40):
    • Union jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead with a layup and a fast-break basket from Kaleim Taylor and Judson Bjornstad, setting the tone early.
