MONTGOMERY, Ala. – In a dominant display, the Christian Brothers men's basketball team (5-6, 1-4 GSC) secured an impressive 81-71 victory over Auburn University at Montgomery (5-6, 2-4 GSC) at the AUM Athletics Complex on Saturday. This game showcased the Bucs' efficiency on offense and strong rebounding performance as they maintained control from start to finish.

First Half Domination

CBU set the tone early, outscoring AUM 42-22 in the first half. The Bucs' aggressive play in the paint proved decisive, as they racked up 28 points in the key compared to AUM's 10. Led by Christian Thompson and Tane Kirisome, the team shot a stellar 54.5 percent from the field, including 60 percent from beyond the arc. Kyler Mann anchored the defensive effort with nine rebounds in the first half alone, contributing to the team's total of 29 rebounds.
