Kylie Burks hit two home runs, and had six RBIs to help the Christian Brothers University softball team defeat West Georgia 12-10, on Sunday afternoon, at Bland Field.

After a two-out error, in the fifth, the Lady Bucs capitalized by scoring five runs.

CBU sent 11 batters to the plate in the first, scoring six runs on five hits.
After a single and a walk, Burks smashed a three-run home run to open the scoring.
Three of the runs came with two outs.
The Wolves found their way back in the game, plating three runs in the third.
A two-run home run helped UWG get to within 6-5, in the fourth.
CBU answered with a big five spot in the fourth inning, taking advantage of a two-out error.
Burks' second home run of the day increased the lead to 8-5, and a two-RBI double by Bond put CBU up 10-5.
With the winning run on third, in the fifth a pop up and a strike out helped the visitors get to the top of the sixth.
UWG took advantage, plating five runs in the sixth. CBU had a pair of errors in the frame.
The Wolves had a leadoff single in the seventh, to get the tying run to the plate, but a pair of groundouts and a flyout ended the game.
NOTABLES
- The six RBIs from Burks are tied for the third-most in a game in program history, and are the most by a GSC player this season.
- CBU has now won back-to-back series against UWG.

The Lady Bucs are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 20 when they travel to Jackson, Tenn., for a non-conference matchup with Lane. First pitch is set for 12 PM.
