LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The Christian Brothers University women's basketball team erased a 14-point deficit, but saw its comeback effort fall just short in a 62-53 setback at West Alabama, on Thursday night, at Pruitt Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UWA held the Lady Bucs to just 25 percent shooting (4-16) to take a 15-8 lead after the first quarter.
- The Lady Bucs used a big 19-12 second quarter to go into halftime tied at 27.
- West Alabama used a 7-13 shooting performance to take a 45-31 lead into the final quarter.
- The Tigers led by as many as 14 points, but CBU used an 18-5 run to cut the deficit to 52-51 with three minutes left.
- UWA hled CBU without a field goal the rest of the way to hold on for the win.
