Montevallo Uses Long Ball to Sweep Lady Bucs

MONTEVALLO, Ala. - Montevallo hit eight home runs to help it earn a doubleheader sweep over the Christian Brothers University softball team, on Saturday afternoon, at Orr Park.

The Falcons scored three runs in the seventh to take the opener 8-6 and hit six home runs in an 8-4 win in game two. 

GAME ONE: UM 8 (5-7, 1-0 GSC) | CBU 6 (7-5, 2-2 GSC)

GAME CHANGER:
After CBU hit a pair of home runs when it was down to its final out, Montevallo answered with a three-run seventh that ended with a two-run walk-off home run. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: KEY PLAYS:
The Falcons used two-run home runs in the first and third to jump on top 4-0. 
In the fourth, Coulon smacked a two-run homer to cut the defict to 4-2.
