PENSACOLA, FL. - The Christian Brothers University softball team fell 9-0 to the University of West Florida, in the opening game of the Gulf South Conference series, on Friday evening, at the UWF Softball Complex. 

FINAL SCORE: UWF 9 (15-12, 4-6 GSC) CBU 0 (13-12, 7-6 GSC)

GAME CHANGER: 

The Argonauts scored four runs in the third and fourth innings.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: 

• West Florida had a 9-3 advantage in hits.

• Riley Simpson lead the way going 1-1.

• Mackenzie Bakel and Ashlynn Smith both went 1-2.
   

KEY PLAYS: 

West Florida scored one run in the in second to go up 1-0.
The Argonauts plated four runs in both the third and fourth inning to lead 9-0.
