Women's Soccer defeated by Mississippi College in another tough road test

CLINTON, Miss. – Christian Brothers women's soccer (0-5-0, 0-2-0 GSC) faced another tough road test at Mississippi College (4-1-2, 1-1-2 GSC) on Sunday afternoon and suffered a 6-0 defeat.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Shots were traded by the Bucs and the Choctaws in the opening 10 minutes. Mississippi College then broke through with a goal in the 14th minute.
  • Ten minutes later, the Choctaws added a second goal after CBU goalkeeper Kaylee Allen saved the previous three shots.
  • Allen made two more saves before a third goal was scored by Mississippi College in the 41st minute.
  • Allen made a sixth save in the moments before the end of the first half.
  • The Choctaws scored all three of their second half goals in the opening five minutes.
  • The Bucs regained their nerve after the shocking start to the first half and went on the attack. They took seven shots, with four on target, in the final 35 minutes. They also held Mississippi College to only two shots during that time.

CBU will travel to Montevallo on Wednesday, Oct. 2 for a 6 p.m. match.
