Memphis, TN- In a festive holiday matchup at Canale Arena, the Christian Brothers University (CBU) Lady Buccaneers displayed incredible heart and determination against AUM. While the final score of 53–44 favored the visitors, CBU's defensive intensity was a gift to their home fans, as they swatted away 5 shots and consistently crashed the glass to out-rebound their opponents 45 to 36. This dominant effort on the boards, including 17 offensive rebounds, allowed the Lady Bucs to stay competitive throughout the afternoon and showcased a "never-quit" attitude perfect for the season.

The highlight of the game was a truly spectacular "double-double" performance from Donee' Frazier, who led all players with a massive 21 points and 15 rebounds. Frazier was a force in the paint, drawing fouls and converting 9 of her 12 attempts from the charity stripe.
