BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Christian Brothers University women's golf's Cesilee Mokry was named the Gulf South Conference's Golfer of the Week on Thursday. This was the second time that she earned Golfer of the Week honors from the league this season.

Mokry tied for 19^th place with a score of 229 13-over par at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate this past Monday and Tuesday. The junior began the event with a round of 79 seven-over par before steadily lowering her score with rounds of 76 four over-par and 74 two-over par, respectively, to close out the tournament. She also helped Christian Brothers to finish eighth in the overall team competition while having a ledger that included eight birdies.
