Bucs Close Out Home Baseball Season

     Christian Brothers played its final three home games of the season dropping a series to Gulf South Conference opponent, Valdosta State.  CBU lost the games 21-11, 4-2 and 9-5.  They have one series remaining and that's next weekend at Union.

GAME 1
     Valdosta State won the game, 21-11.  Jackson Licata and Cory Steinhauer had three hits apiece for the Bucs.  Logan Croley and Jalen Smith added two hits each.  Ivan Zambrano hit his first homer of the season.

GAME 2
     The Bucs lost a close one, 4-2.  Andrew Reed and Seth Brown had two hits each.  Charlie Faoro pitched six strong innings allowing only two earned runs while striking out five.  Brady Moffitt pitched a scoreless inning in relief.

GAME 3
     Valdosta State won the series finale, 9-5.  Five Bucs had two hits each in the game – Jordan Long, Cory Steinhauer, Jalen Smith, Patrick Mangels and Gabe Walker.  Smith hit his team-leading eighth homer of the season.
