Christian Brothers swept a doubleheader at Union to end their season with 17 wins. That marks just the second time since 2008 that the Bucs have won at least 17 games. The Bucs end the year at 17-29.
GAME 1
    Union got its only win of the series on Friday night edging CBU, 12-11. The Bucs made a dramatic comeback coming up just short. After Union exploded for nine runs in the first inning, CBU chipped away at the lead scoring one in the third, five in the sixth and one in the seventh. Trailing 10-7, the Bucs scored four runs in the eighth to take an 11-10 lead.Â
Seth Brown singled in two runs and two others Bucs scored on wild pitches. CBU loaded the bases in the ninth, but couldn't get the tying run across.Â
Andrew Reed and
Jalen Smith homered for CBU.
GAME 2
    CBU rallied from four down in the last two innings to knock off Union, 8-5, in the first game of a doubleheader. Trailing 5-1, the Bucs scored two in the eighth and five in the ninth to capture the win. In the pivotal ninth inning,
Tate Gentleman slammed his first homer of the season to start the scoring.Â

Gabe Walker drove in two with a base hit and Gentleman walked with the bases loaded to force in the final run. A.J. Gamboa, in his final career outing, pitched a complete game striking out seven for CBU.
GAME 3
    CBU ended the season with a lopsided 9-1 win. The Bucs jumped out to a 6-0 lead through two innings and never looked back. Nine different Bucs had base hits with
Cory Steinhauer and
Patrick Mangels leading the way with two each.Â
Charlie Faoro allowed only one run in six innings of work and
Brady Moffitt pitched a scoreless seventh to secure the victory.
