Nashville, TN- Christian Brothers battled through a tough road test Thursday evening but fell 67–48 to Trevecca Nazarene at Trojan Fieldhouse.
CBU showed resilience throughout the night, answering early pressure with stretches of strong execution on both ends. After a slow start in the opening quarter, the Lady Buccaneers settled in offensively and trimmed the deficit with improved ball movement and defensive rebounding in the second period, cutting the halftime margin to nine.
Donee' Frazier led the way for CBU, finishing with a game-high 21 points on efficient shooting while attacking the paint consistently. Alice Conrad added seven points, and Mya Bourget chipped in eight while pulling down five rebounds. The Buccaneers shot better as the game progressed, including a strong third quarter where they kept pace and stayed within striking distance.
Trevecca used second-chance opportunities and fast-break points to create separation late, capitalizing on offensive rebounds and turnovers in the fourth quarter. Despite the final margin, CBU continued to compete until the final horn, showing composure and effort on the road.
Christian Brothers will look to build on the positives from this performance as they continue conference play, with improved shooting rhythm and interior scoring serving as encouraging signs moving forward.
