CBU Competes in Three-Game Set Against Argonauts

Game 1 – February 20, 2026

CBU 0, West Florida 10

Pensacola, FL- Christian Brothers opened the series with a hard-fought contest against West Florida. The Bucs collected seven hits and had multiple runners on base, but were unable to break through for runs.

Isaac Lemanski and Jackson Licata helped lead the offense, while several Bucs reached base and kept innings alive. On the mound, Cameron Olivo delivered six innings of work and kept the game competitive, with the bullpen adding key late-inning appearances.


Game 2 – February 21, 2026 (Doubleheader Game 1)

CBU 1, West Florida 10

The Bucs showed resilience in the first game of the doubleheader, scoring their first run of the series on an RBI single by Brayden Basey in the fourth inning. CBU continued to show patience at the plate, drawing walks and creating scoring chances throughout the game.

Kayne Braxton, Thomas Leiden, and Michael Hanna each took the mound, giving the Bucs valuable innings and experience against a strong West Florida lineup.


Game 3 – February 21, 2026 (Doubleheader Game 2)

CBU 0, West Florida 7

In the finale, CBU continued to battle, highlighted by a hit from Jordan Rodriquez and several competitive at-bats across the lineup. The Bucs pitching staff, led by Charlie Faoro and Kade Johnson, settled in after the early innings and kept the game within reach the rest of the way.


Looking Ahead

Despite the tough results, the weekend provided important reps for the Bucs as they continue to develop and look ahead to the next series. The team showed flashes of offensive production, solid pitching stretches, and competitive energy that will help as the season progresses.
