Coach Tara Wheeler Inducted into The Metropolitan State University Hall of Fame

Memphis, TN- On behalf of Dr. Jackson and the Christian Brothers University Athletic Department, we are proud to celebrate a special milestone for Head Coach Tara Wheeler, who has been inducted into the Metropolitan State University Hall of Fame.

The honor recognizes not only her outstanding achievements as a student athlete but also the dedication and competitive spirit that have defined her journey in athletics. Long before she stepped into her current leadership role, Coach Wheeler built a legacy at her alma mater through hard work, commitment, and a relentless drive to improve. Her induction is a testament to the impact she made during her high school career and the standard of excellence she set early on.

Today, those same qualities continue to shape the culture of the program she leads. Coach Wheeler's emphasis on discipline, accountability, and team-first mentality has helped develop student athletes both on and off the field. Her story serves as a reminder that the values learned early in an athlete's career can carry forward for a lifetime.

For the CBU community, this recognition is more than an individual achievement. It is a celebration of leadership, perseverance, and the lasting influence of a coach who continues to inspire the next generation.

The Athletic Department congratulates Coach Wheeler on this well-deserved honor and looks forward to the continued impact she will make in the years ahead.
